Special Council Meeting

That Council move in-camera in accordance with Procedural By-law #7279-17, Closed Meeting Policy G 040, and the Municipal Act, 2001, Section 239 (2) (b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees, (e) litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board and (f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client Special Council Minutes October 30, 2017 - 6:00 PM privilege including communications necessary for that purpose.

That Council rise from the closed portion of the Special Council Meeting.

That Council appoint the following individuals to the following Committees for the term noted or until a successor is appointed: Active Transportation & Safe Roads Advisory Committee • Duncan Scott for a term ending November 30, 2018. Doors Open Whitby Advisory Committee • Costanzo D'Angelo for a term ending November 30, 2018. Whitby in Bloom Committee • Robert Toyama for a term ending November 30, 2018. Whitby Public Library Board • Gary Rose for a term ending November 30, 2018. Whitby Sustainability Advisory Committee • Costanzo D'Angelo for a term ending November 30, 2018. That leave be granted to introduce a by-law and to dispense with the reading of the by-law by the Clerk to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Town of Whitby at its special meeting held on October 30, 2017 and that the Mayor and the Clerk sign the same and the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed.
