That Council go In Camera in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act and Procedural By-law 6125-08 for the purpose of a confidential verbal update by the Chief Administrative Officer with respect to labour relations (C.U.P.E. Local 53, Part Time Unit).

That Council rise from the Special Closed session and ratify the following direction to staff: That, subject to ratification by C.U.P.E. Local 53, Part Time Unit, Council approve the Memorandum for Renewal of the Collective Agreement between the Town of Whitby and C.U.P.E. Local 53, Part Time Unit, as outlined in the Confidential Memorandum to the Mayor and members of Council from the Chief Administrative Officer dated October 29, 2012.
