That Council of the Corporation for the Town of Whitby meet in closed session without the public in attendance to consider a matter involving labour relations and employee negotiations.

That Council ratify the collective agreement between the Corporation of the Town of Whitby and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 53, dated February 1, 2008.

1. That Council endorse a grant application for the Garden/Burns Street Reconstruction Project under the Municipal Infrastructure Investment Initiative of the Government of Ontario; and, 2. That staff be directed to submit the application for this project by February 15, 2008
