1. That Council support the Private Member's resolution of Randy Pettapiece, MPP, Perth-Wellington in the Ontario Legislature for reform of the joint and several liability regime; 2. That Council support the AMO position of the government's consideration and adoption of measures which limit the punishing impact of joint and several liability on municipalities; and 3. That the Town Clerk circulate a copy of Council's resolution to Randy Pettapiece, MPP, the Premier of Ontario, Minister of Finance, local MPP's and the Association of Municipalities of Ontario.

That leave be granted to introduce a by-law and to dispense with the reading of the by-law by the Clerk to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Town of Whitby at its special meeting held on February 20th, 2014 and that the Mayor and the Clerk sign the same and the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed.
