That Council go In Camera in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act and Procedural By-law 6125-08 for the purpose of a confidential verbal update by the Chief Administrative Officer on Fire negotiations and consideration of the Collective Agreement between the Town of Whitby and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Local 53, as the matters relate to labour relations personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal employees.

2.1 Collective Agreement between the Town of Whitby and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 53 1. That Council ratify the collective agreement between the Corporation of the Town of Whitby and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 53, as amended by the Memorandum of Agreement dated April 20, 2012; and 2. That effective January 1st of each year salary increases of 2.1 % in 2012 and 2.2 % in 2013 be approved for all Non-Union positions.
