That Council move in-camera in accordance with Procedure By-law # 7279-17, Closed Meeting Policy G 040, and the Municipal Act, 2001, Section 239 (2)(c) proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board; and (i) a trade secret or scientific, technical, commercial, financial or labour relations information, supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board, which, if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organization.

That staff be directed to prepare a Letter of Intent between the Town and Compass Group Canada that sets out the terms and conditions for the operation of the food and beverage services (restaurant, concessions and vending) at Iroquois Park Sports Centre, McKinney Centre and the Luther Vipond Memorial Arena; 2. That following the execution of the Letter of Intent, Compass Group Canada be permitted to access Town property to commence the planning and renovations subject to receipt of the requisite insurance requirements, WSIB clearance certificates and other documentation necessary to permit the construction works; Page 2 of 4 Special Council Minutes April 09, 2018 - 6:00 PM 3. That staff be directed to prepare the Lease Agreement based on the terms and conditions outlined in the staff report and the Letter of Intent; and, 4. That Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the Letter of Intent and the Lease Agreement between the Town and Compass Group Canada and any other related documents.
